Everything Travel Group Review
This trip was one of the best full day rafting experiences I’ve had. I took my brother along for the mission and we both had a great day out. This trip takes you through amazing North Queensland scenery, the guides are extremely knowledgeable and offer great service. Highlights were being dropped from the side of the raft by a guide and into a special area of the river where it sucks you under for 5 seconds and pops you up 25m down the river. Also stopping half way and relaxing on the side of the riverbank well the guides cooked up a great Australian BBQ.
Suggestions: Take sunscreen and prepare to be pretty knackered by the end of the day.

Latest Questions about Rafting - Tully River Full Day - Raging Thunder
We’re trying to book a Raging Thunder full day Tully River raft trip for February 27, 2023. Filled the form and submitted for payment but our visa credit card was not accepted which is odd as we use it frequently. We are in the USA and are vacationing in Australia in February and March.
Hopefully we can book the raft trip as we are experienced rafters with our own equipment here in the USA.
Wondering if this operator 'Raging Thunder' is still open. Seems their website says it is permanently closed?
Comments
Thank you so much for your enquiry. Yes, unfortunately, Raging Thunder is not operating anymore. We are currently in the process of updating this Tully Rafting listing once we have confirmation from the new operator.
Hi, I'd like to book Tully River Rafting on Saturday with some friends. However, none of us is confident swimmer, so we are worried if we can do that or not. Although we are excited about rafting and really wanna try. Cheers!
Comments
Rafting on Tully River requires customers to be semi-confident swimmers as some of the rapids are grade 4 level. An alternative that suits beginners and does not require people to be able to swim can go rafting - Barron River half day tour.
Hi, are there crocodiles in the river?
I have been with you before . I am coming again in April and will be in a camper Can i park at your place for the day and the night before. If I remember you have a good bar! And the cost's for a full day rafting

If you are doing the Tully white water rafting or the Extreme Tully rafting and you are going to be staying near by to Tully then you can certainly make your own way to the Raging Thunder raft base in Tully which is at the Feluga Hotel, just off the Bruce highway, 159 Feluga road at 8.30am. Or if you are staying in Mission Beach or Cairns we can arrange for you to be picked up from there.
group of 4 would like to do this on 18th August. Is it possible to do self drive to meeting point near river to transfer to starting point and then to be taken back to meeting point at the end of the day as we are staying in Townsville that day
Comments
Of course we can do that for you, no problem at all! The cost for Tully raftying self drive is $159 per person ($189 including levy of $30 which is payable on the day). The meeting point is The Feluga Hotel on the Bruce Highway about half way between Cairns and Townsville.
Can I drive myself to Tully? If so, what would the price be for the Extreme Package?
Comments
Hi Neil, yes you can drive yourself to Feluga for the Tully Rafting and meet the bus at Feluga Hotel The price is $10 cheaper than going from Cairns.
Hi, We are going travel to Cairns on Oct 2-6, But we can not decide which day we can do the Tully River full day rafting. Can we book it just one day before we do from your website? or we can book it through your office directly in Cairns. Thanks.
Comments
Hi Bai. The Tully rafting from Cairns can get booked up in advance with big groups etc so we do recommend booking before you arrive. If you're not sure which day to book then just pick a date (perhaps the 3rd) and book it and pay via our secure website. If you decide later that you want to change days then just contact us and we can arrange this for you for no fee. You can book via the Book Now button and we will email your booking confirmation straight back.
vegetarian lunch available ?
Comments
Hi Dash, yes a vegetarian lunch certainly is available. Please just note in the "additional information" field when you make your booking that you require a vegetarian lunch and we will arrange this for you.
We are staying at Palm Cove, so is it best to book from Cairns or Mission Beach, thanks
Comments
Hi Steve, you will need to choose the Cairns option which includes pick ups from Palm Cove. Just make sure you note your accommodation in Palm Cove when you make your booking and we will arrange your pick up accordingly.
Hi
Im in Cairns 21/10-28th OCT.
The calander is show no trips WHY???
Comments
Hi Gail, yes that's correct because unforutnately for the month of October the power station is closed as they are having an upgrade and therefore no water is being released. You can still do the Barron River Rafting instead for the month of October.
Hi. Do you have a pick up from Port Douglas and a price
Thanks
Comments
Hi Doris, unfortunately transfers are not offered from Port Douglas for the Tully Rafting, you would need to get yourselves to Cairns.
