Description
Depart the Daintree Coast from Cape Tribulation and travel aboard Ocean Safari's vessel on a day trip bound for one of the magnificent wonders of the world, the tropical Great Barrier Reef. The Ocean Safari vessel carries a small group of 25 passengers and is a rigid inflatable boat that was replicated from a rescue craft and is powered by 700hp engines. This half-day eco tour will begin with an exciting 25 minute joy ride out to Mackay and Undine Reefs, the two pristine snorkelling destinations on your agenda, both of which present a magnitude of marine life and coral species.
Consume the spectacular views as you journey out to the reef, if it's a clear day you'll see the rainforest bordering the mainland whilst snorkelling the tropical waters of the Great Barrier Reef. In addition, keep your eyes peeled for sea turtles that call the Great Barrier Reef home, as they float over the colourful coral laden reefs as well as a myriad of tropical fish, eagle rays, giant clams and starfish. You can rely on your experienced Ocean Safari skipper and Eco Host to deliver a fun filled, unique experience brimming with appreciation for the heritage-based Great Barrier Reef and coastal rainforest of the Daintree.
