Low Isles Day Trip from Port Douglas
Highlights
- Access to pristine coral cay
- 4.5 hours at Low Isles
- Glass bottom boat for coral viewing
- Snorkelling equipment and tuition included
Description
Spend an unforgettable day on board Wavedancer on a trip that will take you sailing to Low Isles, a pristine coral cay located on the magnificent Great Barrier Reef of Australia. Wavedancer has just one of the four tour licences bestowing upon vessels a Low Isles mooring, so access to the cay is limited. Throughout the day you will receive close personal attention from the enthusiastic and friendly crew members and take part in a number of exciting activities such as snorkelling, guided walks and glass bottom boat viewing.
The Wavedancer reef and island cruise takes you to the Low Isles, which are a sheltered coral cay island situated on the Great Barrier Reef. The vessel will moor in the tranquil blue lagoon for 3.5 hours, giving you ample time to unwind on the powdery white sands, snorkel over the blue lagoon’s spectacular gardens of coral and swim alongside sea turtles in their natural home. Take a ride on a boat equipped with a glass bottom, tuck into a delicious buffet lunch, and then head back to Port Douglas on a relaxing return sailing trip with Wavedancer.

Heya, Yes babies are allowed on the trip no problem. You will all need to leave the boat at one point when they put you on a slightly smaller boat which takes about 20 people to take you to an island for a stop there. It is perfectly safe and easy to bring your baby on this part of the trip. Hope this helps, Alicia
