The crew at Heli Charters are fantastic. We were really impressed at how slick the staff were from the reception staff to the pilots. The helicopters are in great condition along with the overall presentation of their entire business, so at no time was safety ever a thought. You get a really good appreciation for how big the Great Barrier Reef is from above and an excellent overview of the Cairns Township and view of the World Heritage Rainforest. This is definitely the best way to understand why they say Cairns and Cape Tribulation is where the Rainforest meets the Reef.
Suggestions: Very nice way to start your trip to Cairns, as looking down from above helps to get your bearings. We would suggest you do this early during your trip, enabling you the opportunity to re-schedule if the weather is not behaving itself!
