Your day will begin with a short walk through the rainforest to the Devils Drop, the starting point of your canyoning descent. From there you will manoeuvre your way through the lush Cairns rainforest, whilst ziplining, abseiling sheer rock faces, sliding natural rock slides and jumping beside plummeting waterfalls into natural pools. Crystal Canyon is a secluded section of Crystal Cascades offering excitement in a safe and controlled environment with the supervision of experienced Cairns Canyoning guides. Get amongst the rainforest's wildlife where you'll find lizards, snakes, birds and an array of colourful butterflies and dragonflies.

Cairns Canyoning is a great opportunity to try something new. No previous canyoning experience is required and it is suitable for any fitness level.

Other Information

• Please bring enough lunch, snacks and water for the day
• No previous canyoning experience required, full demonstration of every activity will be provided
• You do not need to know how to swim but it's important that you like to be in the water & don't have a fear of water
• Prescription glasses should be worn rather than contact lenses
• Do not bring sunglasses, watches or jewellery, video or still cameras
• Minimum age 12 years, those under the age of 18 years must travel with a guardian or parent
• Bring swim wear, a towel, a pair of board shorts, sunscreen, a change of clothes & a bag for your wet clothes
• Wear closed-toe trainers
• There is a 20 minute walk to the beginning of the canyoning course
• Not suitable for anyone who is pregnant 
• We highly recommend having your own travel insurance
• Prior to the trip you will be required to complete a medical questionnaire & sign a liability waiver
