Have an early night before you embark on this mad adventure combo. This was an absolutely awesome day out. The skydive was exhilarating and provided the most idyllic/unique views showing the size of the Great Barrier Reef you’re honestly ever going to get. The skydive crew are funny and entertain you throughout the entire time you’re with them, mmm… I’m not sure if this was to help calm the nerves or just an added bonus, but we loved it. Straight after the big jump it’s off into swimwear and a raft, where we paddled our way past amazing North Queensland river banks, rainforest and tackled rapids like ‘professionals’, while trying our best to stay inside the raft... Rafting has been a huge part of Cairns and the surrounding areas for more than 25 years, and after experiencing the beauty of the Barron River first hand we now know why.
Suggestions: Even though you can choose to split the Skydive and Rafting over two days, our recommendation is to do it all in one day while your adrenaline is still pumping. If you want to raise the levels a bit then book the Super Thrills & Spills Combo which includes the Tully rafting!
