Description
Visit the spectacular Atherton Tablelands on a full day adventure from Cairns with Barefoot Tours. Travel through World Heritage listed Rainforest as you meander your way leisurely through tropical North Queensland to explore the lush landscape of the Tablelands. Along the way, enjoy a dip in a volcanic crater lake, swim under towering waterfalls and slide down a natural waterslide. If you don't fancy getting wet or swimming just isn't your forte then don't worry as there is plenty more to explore whilst the swimmers cool down.
The key stops on this sightseeing tour of the Atherton Tablelands include a visit to the unique Cathedral Fig Tree, a swim at the volcanic created Lake Eacham, Dinner Falls and The Crater. Stop at Millaa Millaa Falls, a heritage-listed plunge waterfall and explore Josephine Falls, a tiered cascade waterfall on the Josephine Creek.
Morning, lunch and afternoon tea are provided with an abundance of fresh fruit, muffins, cakes, tim tams plus hot chocolate, local tea and plunger coffee. This flexible itinerary makes for a perfect leisurely day for all to enjoy with the opportunity to add in alternative stops on request, weather and time permitting.

Thank you so much for your enquiry. Yes, we can take pregnant people in their third trimester as long as she is comfy walking up to 600m at Josephine falls? That is our longest walk, the rest are quite short. The other thing to note is we are out of reception in some areas (in case of early labor) & the hospital can be up to 40mins away. So my suggestion would be as long as she isn’t 38wks or later in pregnancy. I recommend Barefoot tours as it caters to small groups and different age groups.
