Description
Departing from Port Douglas with bus transfers from Cairns, our brand new state of the art Wave-piercing catamaran, Evolution, is the culmination of information acquired from passengers and crew over our 22 years of operation. It provides the ultimate in service, safety and comfort and an in-water submerged large swim platform makes water entry as simple as walking down 3 steps. HABA is Eco-tourism accredited and takes very seriously its obligation to look after the Reef for our future generations. We support ecologically sustainable tourism and regularly participate in research projects to help monitor and protect the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
HABA visits 2 sites daily on the Outer Great Barrier Reef that are chosen based on tides, weather and visibility to provide you with the best day possible. Our exclusive moorings provide close proximity to the Reef for Snorkelling and Glass Bottom Boat tours as well as Introductory and Ceritifed Dives.

Reef Cinema
On our way to the Great Barrier Reef passengers will be able to experience the sights and sounds of this World Heritage listed area in an educational underwater spectacular while enjoying the comfort of a double ended onboard cinema. Chips, chocolates, ice creams and even a fully licensed bar will add to the pleasure of this unique experience.
Snorkelling
Snorkelling is the easiest & most popular way to experience the magic of the underwater world as is included in your fare. Whether you are a nervous first time snorkeller or a returning guest, our friendly & professional crew are there to ensure you get the most out of your day. There is hands-on in water assistance for beginners and experienced snorkellers are not restricted and are free to explore. Snorkelling is inclusive in the cost.

Introductory Diving
- No experience necessary
- Discover Scuba Diving courses are conducted under strict PADI guidelines and government regulations
- Educational dive briefing occurs onboard by our highly qualified and professional staff
- Maximum of 4 students per Instructor means hands-on personalised service continues into the water, during your dive, until its completion
- Highest quality equipment and a souvenir dive certificate
- Extra Time = Extra Patience. Haba's 2-site day allows our instructors plenty of time to offer patient encouragement with a high level of safety and enjoyment
Certified Diving
- Professional, experienced & helpful dive crew

Glass Bottom Boat

What a boat! This state of the art wave piercing catamaran powers through even the biggest chop with ease at over 25 knots meaning you spend less time getting to the reef and more time in the water. Best of all, because it cuts through the waves, there is less pounding and the smoother ride means even those with the weekest stomachs (like me!) are unlikely to get motion sickness.
Great staff, tasty lunch, spacious boat, no big crowds.
Suggestions: All scuba dives are guided at no extra cost which means that if you havent dived for a while or you simply want to see as much as you can underwater then this is the reef trip to book. Take advantage of the free transfers from Cairns for Everything Cairns online customers.
