The waterfalls of the Cairns Tropical Highlands will astound and invigorate your senses.

Tour Details
This tour covers a distance of over 300 kilometres in one day stopping at 6 destinations along the way. The ecology varies from the drier tropical forests to the beautiful tropical rain forest.
At Lake Barrine the Rainforest Wildlife Cruise will observe different kinds of birds like ducks, pelicans, sea eagles and various other seasonal visitors to the lake.
Eels, turtles and most of the time carpet pythons, amethystine pythons & red bellied black snakes, water dragons and others are visible on the banks of the 10,000 year old lake.
At the Curtain Fig Tree we may see the shy Lumholtz Tree Kangaroo, the Boyd's forest dragon, the Green Ring tailed possum and various other birds.
The Millaa Millaa falls has also different kinds of butterflies, insects and the rare Lumholtz tree kangaroo.
At beautiful Paronella Park you will see many eels, turtles, fish, scrub turkeys and the miniature bats.

Other Information
- Depending on the season & what the weather brings you may like to come with a jacket during the winter months as the Tablelands can get cool. The summer you should bring a hat, sunscreen and some bottled water
- Definitely bring your swimming gear, towel & a change of clothing is essential for an excellent day out. Even during the cooler months
- A must is your camera with spare batteries and enough room on the memory card
- Some spare change as we visit 2 very well equipped gift shops with locally made products
- And last of all a good attitude and a thirst for great views and an excellent time is essential
