Take off with views over Cairns city and head out over the Coral Sea, where the awesome size and majesty of the Great Barrier Reef can only truly be appreciated from the air take in all it’s splendor as you fly over famous sites such as Arlington Reef, Green Island and Upolu Cay. Be sure to bring your Camera for this unforgettable experience.

Trip Includes
- 30minute scenic flight
- Transfers from your accommodation to the heli pad next to the airport
Duration
- Allow 90 minutes round trip from Cairns accommodation (including return transfers)

- Pick up from your accommodation or central Cairns

- A minimum of 2 passengers are required to confirm the flight. If you are travelling on your own we still recommend booking in advance as we can generally find another customer to confirm the trip

I’ve been in helicopters many times and in some dramatic places around the world, but I can honestly say flying over the Great Barrier Reef was overall the best. We got right down low over the ocean and could see through to the bottom of the sea floor, coral, fish and sand cays – truly amazing! This is one of my favourite things to do in Cairns… jump onboard a chopper and check out the reef from above.
