Sailaway invites you to enjoy "a day to remember" with a reef and island sail for snorkelling and exploring Low Isles, an unspoilt coral cay on Australia's Great Barrier Reef. With only 1 of 4 reef tour licenses to moor at Low Isles there is limited access. With a maximum of 33 passengers personal attention from our friendly and helpful crew is ensured.
Sailaway IV a luxury catamaran offers a five-star reef and island cruise to Low Isles, a protected Coral Cay island on the Great Barrier Reef. Sailaway moors in the sheltered blue lagoon for over 5 hours. Relax on the white sandy beaches, snorkel over the magnificent coral gardens in the blue lagoon and swim with turtles in their natural habitat. Take a trip on the glass bottom boat, enjoy a superb buffet lunch, before sailing back to Port onboard the Lagoon 500, a state-of-the-art luxury sailing catamaran from France.
Your Itinerary
- 8:30am departure from the marina
- Fresh plunger coffee, Daintree Tea and biscuits served upon boarding
- 9:30am arrival at the sheltered blue lagoon
- Snorkelling briefing on the deck of Sailaway
- Transfer to the island on our tender
- Guided snorkel tour with marine biologist
- Encounter turtles over coral gardens
- View an incredible variety of fish and coral
- Island exploration to explore it's environment and learn about it's history
- 12:30pm a delicious tropical buffet lunch onboard Sailaway
- Free time for snorkelling from the back deck after lunch viewing the many species of coral, fish life and turtles
- Informative glass bottom boat tour with the skipper viewing coral gardens
- Afternoon tea and delicious homemade cakes
- Then a relaxed sail back to Port Douglas soaking up the incredible views
- 4:00pm arrival at the Marina Mirage
