Description
If you don't have the time to do a 5 day course or would prefer a land based Learn to Dive course then this course is the ideal option for you.
Day 1 and 2 are spent at our modern, purpose built training centre learning the theory and underwater skills of diving.
Days 3 and 4 are spent on one of TUSA Dives fast and modern day boats where you'll complete the 4 training dives required for your PADI Open Water certification. You'll return to your Cairns accommodation each evening.
NOTE - You will have a different dive instructor for the 2 days of diving on the boat from the one you had in the pool.

Duration
- 4 full days
Departures
- 8am complimentary pick up from Cairns accommodation (if requested)
- Or 8.30am registration at the Pro Dive training centre, 116 Spence street central Cairns
- Dive Courses commence every day except Sunday
Other Information
- Please read the important dive information before booking your dive course
- You can cancel your Learn to Dive course for any reason at any time up to the end of Day 1 of the course and receive a full refund of all money paid to Pro Dive Cairns. There is no refund for any reason after this time.
- An additional fee of $10 per person per day while on dive boat is payable direct to Tusa Dive. This fee consists of a $5 Government Environmental Charge (EMC) as well as a Port Departure Tax, fuel levy and administration charges
- Dive Medical $49.50 - payable direct to the doctor on Day 1 of the dive course
- Digital Underwater Camera's are available for hire at a cost of $40
- The minimum age to participate in this course is 12 yrs.
Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or adult over the age of 18. There is no maximum age. - It is a course requirement that you be able to swim 200 metres and tread water/float for 10 minutes
- Please leave at least 24 hours after your last dive before flying
