Quad Biking ATV - Blazing Saddles

Description

Picture this, zooming along our rainforest and adventure trails that zig zag their way across our property with friends, family and other fun loving people on your very own four wheeled motor bike, also called an Quad bike or ATV which stands for All Terrain Vehicle.

You will have been placed into a group of similar skill level after completing our safety and introductory lesson. Our fantastic guides will then lead you out for as much fun as you can handle whilst getting down and dirty on our fantastic Blazing Saddles ATV tour!

Our tours are half day in length, allowing you to enjoy both your holiday relaxation time and other tours.

We have a free transfer service that will pick you up and drop you off at your accommodation in Cairns or the Northern Beaches.

The morning tour provides you with a BBQ lunch after the tour and on the afternoon tour we provide light refreshments.

We include a safety and introductory lesson on each and every tour so that if you've never ridden anything before - it doesn't matter.

We ensure that you have as much fun as possible because that's what we love to do!

The Bikes
Our Honda TRX250 ATV's are very well maintained and are powerful enough to let you feel great acceleration and grunt. They are ultra manoevrable and as safe as possible.
There is a smaller bike option for people not comfortable with the larger quad bikes.

Trips Includes

Return transfers from Cairns or drive yourself to Kuranda
Morning or afternoon tea
2 hour quad biking ride
BBQ lunch (morning trip) or a light snack (afternoon trip)

Duration

Half day - allow 4 hours (including return transfers from Cairns)
Full day - allow 8 hours (includes 1.5 hours free time in Kuranda)

Departures

Half day - 8.30am & 1.30pm from Cairns
Full day - 8.30am (combines morning & afternoon rides)

Other Information

No experience necessary and no license required
The full day option combines the morning and afternoon rides and also includes lunch & 1.5 hours free time in Kuranda township between rides
Helmets and safety equipment provided
Operates all year and in all weather conditions
Minimum age is 12 years (no child rate available)
Please wear long pants and covered shoes (no thongs or trail sandals, runners are OK)
Wear at least a T-Shirt (no Singlets or sleeveless shirts)
Bring a camera & sunglasses
Not suitable for anyone who is pregnant

Everything Travel Group Comments

Rip it up! These ATV bikes are great comfortable machines that just won’t get stuck no matter where you take them. The terrain we got to play on was well thought out allowing us to stay on pre made tracks or venture off into untracked areas. We had 4 people in our group, which made for some fun times watching each other push the bikes through different terrain and obstacles. We all had a wicked day out and are still talking/laughing about the session we had 6 months after the fact!

Suggestions: The ATV’s are based 30mins North from the Cairns CBD in a small township called Kuranda. Our advice is spend a full day in Kuranda as there are markets, shopping and funky cafes everywhere. If you are into horse riding, you can do this at the same place as the ATV bikes – so don’t rush up to do ATV’s and come back to Cairns, there’s a lot to see and do in Kuranda.
