Skydiving at Mission Beach with Jump the Beach, is an exhilarating, adrenalin pumping, unforgettable adventure that leaves you feeling high – even after your feet have touched the ground!!
A Jump the Beach day of skydiving, is packed with 14,000 feet of pure ecstasy but it doesn’t end there! You will enjoy a great day out with friends at Mission Beach, one of Queensland’s unspoilt destinations in Australia. Mission Beach, is just south of Cairns, far north Queensland.
Our professional and qualified Tandem Skydive Masters will guide you out of our plane for a tandem skydive above one of the most beautiful scenes in the world. Whilst skydiving with our tandem skydive masters, you will have views of 14km of golden beaches, lush rainforest, the Great Barrier Reef and tropical islands.
But lets get real! You are not only here for the views. Adrenaline will flow through your body, you will experience 60 seconds of freefall skydiving, with our tandem skydive masters, that will be the most exhilarating experience of your life!!
You have the choice of Skydiving from two different altitudes, skydiving! 11,000 feet will give you over 40 seconds of freefall skydiving! 14,000 feet will have you freefall skydiving for 60 seconds! All with the safety of being strapped to one of our tandem skydive masters.
No prior training is necessary. Just come to our office and we will teach you everything you need to know for a tandem skydive before we take you off in the plane. You will be strapped to one of our qualified tandem skydive masters who will guide you all the way from cloud 9 back to earth!!

Almost anyone from 14 years and over can skydive. Tandem jumps are the best way to introduce yourself to the world of skydiving, and once you start, IT’S ADDICTIVE!!!

After your freefall experience, you’ll enjoy 5-6 minutes of spirals and turns under canopy.
Trip Includes
- Air-Conditioned Bus Transfers from Cairns to our Skydive Training Facility & Mission Beach (1 ½ hour)

Duration
- Allow between 10 and 12 hours (including transfers from Cairns)
- Allow 3 hours if you are in Mission Beach
Departures
- 7.30am pick up from Cairns accommodation (return by 6ish!)
- Or 8am, 11am or 1pm if you are making your own way to Mission Beach
- Drop Zone is in Mission Beach (1.5 hrs south of Cairns)
Other Information
- This is an all day activity from Cairns. Depending on the number of jumpers you may not be back to Cairns until after 6pm so bring a book and beach towel.
- Minimum age is 14 years
- There is a $35 APF compulsory levy (Australian Parachute Federation) payable on the day
- No child rates
- Max weight is 100kgs
- DVD & photos package available for purchase on the day (DVD for $124 or dvd and photos for $145)
